# YAP Notes vs Rewrite AI

The clearest difference is ads: YAP Notes at none against Rewrite AI's shown. YAP Notes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Rewrite AI's advantage is ratings volume (121 vs 3) and chart position (#198 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YAP Notes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Rewrite AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YAP Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rewrite AI has 121 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
