# Purrception vs Spirit Box

The clearest difference is update cadence: Purrception at every 4 days against Spirit Box's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Purrception sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and Spirit Box sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Purrception ships an update every 4 days, Spirit Box every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
