# FlowStack vs Unhook

The clearest difference is monetization model: FlowStack at freemium against Unhook's subscription. FlowStack also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlowStack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Unhook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FlowStack against 5.0 for Unhook. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

FlowStack ships an update every 5 days, Unhook every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
