# SprintNotes vs FlowState

The clearest difference is ads: SprintNotes at none against FlowState's shown. SprintNotes also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SprintNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlowState sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SprintNotes ships an update every 9 days, FlowState every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 5, 2026.
