# Secure vs ChatMCP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Secure at none against ChatMCP's 3. ChatMCP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatMCP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Secure asks for nothing beyond the download.

Secure ships an update every 3 months, ChatMCP every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
