# Snips vs Ekome

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snips at every 3 days against Ekome's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snips sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month and Ekome sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Snips ships an update every 3 days, Ekome monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
