# TranscribeAI vs AI Voice Notes

The clearest difference is rating: AI Voice Notes at 4.2 against TranscribeAI's 3.7. AI Voice Notes also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). TranscribeAI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (44% vs 28%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TranscribeAI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and AI Voice Notes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Voice Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 58 and 45 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of TranscribeAI's written reviews are positive against 28% of AI Voice Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TranscribeAI ships an update every 2 weeks, AI Voice Notes every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
