# Baseball AI vs AMPD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AMPD at none against Baseball AI's 6. AMPD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). Baseball AI's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (17 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. AMPD asks for nothing beyond the download.

AMPD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball AI has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baseball AI ships an update fortnightly, AMPD every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
