# Gachi vs Waito

The clearest difference is update cadence: Waito at every 8 days against Gachi's every 3 weeks. Gachi's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gachi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Waito sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gachi ships an update every 3 weeks, Waito every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
