# IPTV Player (IPEXO) vs MX Player

The clearest difference is rating: MX Player at 5.0 against IPTV Player (IPEXO)'s 4.3. MX Player also leads on ads (none vs shown). IPTV Player (IPEXO)'s advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player (IPEXO) sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and MX Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
