# Taskly vs Magnet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magnet at every 4 days against Taskly's every 2 weeks. Taskly's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taskly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Magnet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taskly ships an update every 2 weeks, Magnet every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
