# LAG vs Randomizer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LAG at none against Randomizer's 1. LAG also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Randomizer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Randomizer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LAG asks for nothing beyond the download.

LAG ships an update monthly, Randomizer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
