# Random Color vs InterviewGenie

The clearest difference is update cadence: Random Color at every 10 days against InterviewGenie's every 4 months. Random Color also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Color sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and InterviewGenie sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random Color ships an update every 10 days, InterviewGenie every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
