# Smart Noter vs PDF Converter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Smart Noter at 2.4K against PDF Converter's 44. Smart Noter also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 21%) and chart position (#182 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Noter sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and PDF Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Noter holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Noter has 2.4K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Smart Noter's written reviews are positive against 21% of PDF Converter's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
