# Lecture Recorder. vs AutoNote

Lecture Recorder. and AutoNote both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Lecture Recorder.'s written reviews are positive against 67% of AutoNote's. Lecture Recorder. also leads on ratings volume (160 vs 34) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). AutoNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lecture Recorder. sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and AutoNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AutoNote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 160 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Lecture Recorder.'s written reviews are positive against 67% of AutoNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lecture Recorder. ships an update every 5 weeks, AutoNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
