# ChessMind AI vs ChessScan

The clearest difference is rating: ChessMind AI at 4.7 against ChessScan's 4.0. ChessMind AI also leads on ratings volume (157 vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChessMind AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and ChessScan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChessMind AI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChessMind AI has 157 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
