# FilterTok vs Violin Blast

The clearest difference is rating: Violin Blast at 5.0 against FilterTok's 4.1. Violin Blast also leads on ads (none vs shown). FilterTok's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 2) and chart position (#114 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FilterTok sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Violin Blast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Violin Blast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FilterTok has 2.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FilterTok ships an update weekly, Violin Blast every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
