# Purpose Journal vs Adermio

Purpose Journal and Adermio both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Adermio's written reviews are positive against 46% of Purpose Journal's. Adermio also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Purpose Journal's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 10). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Purpose Journal sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Adermio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Purpose Journal against 4.9 for Adermio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purpose Journal has 1.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
