# GPS Emu vs Sidekick

The clearest difference is update cadence: GPS Emu at daily against Sidekick's every 4 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Emu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Sidekick sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPS Emu ships an update daily, Sidekick every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
