# MindSync vs Between Sessions

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindSync at every 9 days against Between Sessions's monthly. MindSync also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindSync sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Between Sessions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindSync ships an update every 9 days, Between Sessions monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
