# MásGusto vs Mofongo Restaurant

The clearest difference is rating: MásGusto at 4.9 against Mofongo Restaurant's 4.0. MásGusto also leads on ratings volume (5.7K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Mofongo Restaurant's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MásGusto holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MásGusto has 5.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of MásGusto's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mofongo Restaurant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MásGusto ships an update weekly, Mofongo Restaurant every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
