# Ney Sim vs Simple Saxophone

The clearest difference is rating: Ney Sim at 5.0 against Simple Saxophone's 4.7. Simple Saxophone's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ney Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simple Saxophone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ney Sim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Saxophone has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ney Sim ships an update every 3 months, Simple Saxophone monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
