# Placify vs Etek

The clearest difference is update cadence: Placify at every 2 weeks against Etek's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Placify sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Etek sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Placify ships an update every 2 weeks, Etek every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
