# Flip Clock vs iTems

The clearest difference is rating: Flip Clock at 5.0 against iTems's 4.0. Flip Clock also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 2). iTems's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and iTems sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 21 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flip Clock ships an update every 2 months, iTems every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
