# Flip Clock vs Mortality

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mortality at every 3 weeks against Flip Clock's every 2 months. Flip Clock's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and Mortality sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock ships an update every 2 months, Mortality every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
