# GoPass vs DFW Chaplains

The clearest difference is update cadence: DFW Chaplains at every 4 days against GoPass's every 3 months. DFW Chaplains also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.6). GoPass's advantage is ratings volume (91K vs 8). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DFW Chaplains holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoPass has 91K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoPass ships an update every 3 months, DFW Chaplains every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
