# GoPass vs Addison Orbit

The clearest difference is rating: GoPass at 4.8 against Addison Orbit's 2.7. GoPass also leads on ratings volume (90K vs 7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Addison Orbit's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 48%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoPass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoPass has 90K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of GoPass's written reviews are positive against 67% of Addison Orbit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoPass ships an update every 3 months, Addison Orbit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
