# Every So vs Before You Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Every So at none against Before You Go's 1. Every So also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Before You Go's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 14 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Before You Go sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Every So asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Every So against 5.0 for Before You Go. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Every So has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Every So ships an update every 14 months, Before You Go weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
