# Ripple vs Minimo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ripple at 10 against Minimo's 1. Minimo's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ripple sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Minimo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Ripple against 5.0 for Minimo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ripple has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Ripple's written reviews are positive against 100% of Minimo's.

Ripple ships an update every 11 days, Minimo weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
