# Tonspur vs Libly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Libly at every 5 days against Tonspur's every 3 weeks. Libly also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tonspur sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Libly sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tonspur ships an update every 3 weeks, Libly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
