# Peek vs Watch Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Watch Notes at every 2 months against Peek's every 11 months. Watch Notes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peek sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Watch Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Peek ships an update every 11 months, Watch Notes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
