# StatSync vs Social Steps

The clearest difference is update cadence: StatSync at every 4 weeks against Social Steps's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StatSync sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Social Steps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StatSync ships an update every 4 weeks, Social Steps every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
