# IdeaVault vs ZyNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: IdeaVault at daily against ZyNotes's fortnightly. ZyNotes's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (28 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IdeaVault sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ZyNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
