# Optmoskva vs Космос VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Optmoskva at 5.0 against Космос VPN's 4.4. Optmoskva also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Космос VPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (162 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optmoskva holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Космос VPN has 162 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Optmoskva's written reviews are positive against 83% of Космос VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Optmoskva ships an update every 3 weeks, Космос VPN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
