# TicNote vs AI Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: AI Recorder at 4.8 against TicNote's 1.0. AI Recorder also leads on ratings volume (48 vs 1). TicNote's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TicNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and AI Recorder sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Recorder has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TicNote ships an update every 10 days, AI Recorder fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
