Arcbay is the app a small service business runs its day on — car washes, detailers, barbershops, salons, nail and med spas, groomers, smog and repair shops, home services. Bookings, walk-ins, payments, customers, loyalty and staff hours, built for the phone in your apron pocket, so you are not walking back to the front desk to find out what is next. Any business can sign up at arcbay.app. WHAT IT DOES Today, at a glance See the day's appointments in order, who has arrived, who is running late, and what is still unclaimed. Check someone in, start the work, take the payment, mark it done. Bookings without the phone tag Add a walk-in in seconds. Move an appointment. When you are running behind, push the rest of your day back by fifteen minutes and let everyone affected know at once, instead of calling five people one at a time. Customers you actually remember Every client's history, vehicle or service preferences, notes, and where they are on their punch card. Search by name or phone and have the answer before they reach the counter. Loyalty that runs itself Punches are awarded automatically when payment is recorded, so nobody has to remember to stamp a card, and nobody gets stamped twice. Free visits are offered at the till. Payments Take payment in person, or through Stripe or Square if your shop has connected an account. Tips are tracked separately from revenue, because tips are staff money. Staff and hours Clock in and out, see the week's shifts, request a day off, and let the owner see scheduled versus actual hours and the labour cost that follows from them. Push notifications A new booking, a cancellation, a client's reply. The app tells you when it happens rather than when you next look. BUILT FOR BOOTH RENTERS TOO If you rent a chair, Arcbay treats your book as yours. You see your own appointments, your own clients and your own messages — not the shop's, and the owner does not see yours. That is enforced by the database, not by hiding a button. GETTING AN ACCOUNT Any business can get Arcbay, free, right in the app: sign in, tap Create my shop, name the business and pick its trade — no minimum size, no contract, one chair or five bays. Want a bespoke website on your own domain, or your own texting number? Reach us at arcbay.app or hello@arcsmiths.com for that, any time after. If the shop you work at already uses Arcbay, your owner creates your login and you sign in here instead.
