# Rocket Adventure! vs The Hook

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Hook at fortnightly against Rocket Adventure!'s monthly. The Hook also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Rocket Adventure!'s advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Adventure! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and The Hook sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Hook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rocket Adventure! has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rocket Adventure! ships an update monthly, The Hook fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
