# Fictional vs Hisoul

The clearest difference is rating: Hisoul at 4.8 against Fictional's 4.4. Hisoul also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Fictional's advantage is ratings volume (192 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fictional sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hisoul sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hisoul holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fictional has 192 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fictional ships an update every 2 weeks, Hisoul weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
