# Folo vs insightea

The clearest difference is review sentiment: insightea at 100% against Folo's 41%. insightea also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Folo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (54 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and insightea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

insightea holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Folo has 54 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Folo's written reviews are positive against 100% of insightea's.

Folo ships an update fortnightly, insightea every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
