# Mbongo vs Ôme

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ôme at every 3 months against Mbongo's every 10 months. Mbongo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mbongo ships an update every 10 months, Ôme every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
