# Mingo vs Phantom Chat

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Mingo at 12.0 against Phantom Chat's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mingo sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Phantom Chat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
