# Langflix vs Scribo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scribo at every 3 days against Langflix's every 3 weeks. Scribo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Langflix's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Langflix sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Scribo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Langflix has 122 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Langflix's written reviews are positive against 88% of Scribo's.

Langflix ships an update every 3 weeks, Scribo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
