# PDF Converter vs Alcomic

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Alcomic at 82 against PDF Converter's 3. Alcomic also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Alcomic sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PDF Converter against 5.0 for Alcomic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alcomic has 82 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PDF Converter ships an update every 5 days, Alcomic every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
