# AiPPT vs Note Taker

The clearest difference is ads: Note Taker at none against AiPPT's shown. AiPPT's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 4) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AiPPT sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Note Taker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AiPPT against 5.0 for Note Taker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AiPPT has 35 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AiPPT ships an update every 3 weeks, Note Taker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
