# Fala vs Anywhere Proxy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fala at none against Anywhere Proxy's 1. Fala also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Anywhere Proxy's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anywhere Proxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Fala asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fala holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anywhere Proxy has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fala ships an update monthly, Anywhere Proxy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
