# Blink Notes vs markdown notes

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Blink Notes at 14.0.0 against markdown notes's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blink Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and markdown notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
