# NextACGN vs 幽光

The clearest difference is rating: NextACGN at 5.0 against 幽光's 4.1. NextACGN also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 幽光's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextACGN sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 幽光 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextACGN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 幽光 has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NextACGN ships an update every 5 weeks, 幽光 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
