# Avocado vs OktoNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: OktoNote at every 4 days against Avocado's every 11 months. OktoNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Avocado sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and OktoNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Avocado ships an update every 11 months, OktoNote every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
