# Control‎ vs Subverter

The clearest difference is price: Control‎ at Free against Subverter's $1.99. Control‎ also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Control‎ is free to download; Subverter costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Control‎ against 5.0 for Subverter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Control‎ has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
