# FlickVid vs Canvas OTT

The clearest difference is monetization model: Canvas OTT at free against FlickVid's free with in-app purchases. FlickVid's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlickVid ships an update every 4 days, Canvas OTT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
